Nouvelle saisie de haschich à l’AIBD
The Tourism Customs Brigade, under the Customs Subdivision of the AIBD, Western Regional Directorate, seized 120 packages weighing a total of 11,800 kg of hashish. This operation took place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at around 12:30 p.m. in the Arrivals area of the AIBD.
According to customs information, the drugs were hidden in Nesquik jars discovered in the luggage of two Senegalese women arriving from Paris. Initial investigations revealed that these passengers were, in fact, just one link in a criminal network.
This is how elements of the customs tourism brigade successfully carried out a "controlled delivery" operation in the Liberté 3 district (Dakar) in collaboration with OCRTIS. This allowed the economic soldiers to apprehend two other individuals believed to be members of the same network. The four defendants were then brought before the Mbour prosecutor's office.
Customs recalls that the same unit seized, on Thursday, October 2, 59 packages of hashish with a total weight of 32.686 kg in a similar targeting and interception operation.
