Agression à la machette : Le chauffeur C. Bâ encourt 2 mois de prison ferme
Driver C. Bâ appeared before the Thiès court on charges of assault and battery resulting in a seven-day period of temporary incapacity for work. He is accused of having struck machete worker M. Bâ on the left arm without apparent motive. The incident occurred in Keur Madaro.
The victim stated that he had no dispute with the accused, who allegedly hurled insults without reason before coming to attack him at home.
In court, C. Bâ admitted the facts, claiming to have been under the influence of an evil spirit at the time of the events.
The prosecutor considered the facts consistent and requested a 2-month prison sentence.
The decision is expected on January 19th.
