Agressions à Guédiawaye : cinq suspects, sept autres traqués
According to Libération, the Guédiawaye police are continuing the manhunt after the group attacks known as "Simol", in accordance with the firm instructions of the Minister of the Interior and Public Security, Bamba Cissé.
Following the incidents that occurred on January 4th at the Dial Mbaye bus stop, a first group of suspects was brought before the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office on Thursday. These include wrestler Abdou Lô Sène, also known as Bébé Jackson, his coach Omar Diallo, and their companions Modou Yade, Papa Niang, and Youssou Samb. They are being prosecuted for unlawful assembly resulting in damage to persons and property.
The accused were granted a return to the prosecutor's office and will learn their fate this Friday, the newspaper reports.
Meanwhile, according to the same source, the analysis of CCTV footage has allowed for the formal identification of seven other individuals involved in the violence. These suspects, currently at large, are being actively sought by officers from the Guédiawaye police station.
