Barkédji : Une jeune femme de 25 ans retrouvée morte pendue
The residents of the village of Guénte Diaby, in the commune of Barkedji (Linguère department), are in shock following a gruesome discovery. A young woman, identified as Awa Diallo and aged 25, was found dead, hanging from a tree not far from the village.
According to informed sources, the victim was spotted by two children playing near the scene of the tragedy, who immediately alerted the villagers.
Alerted in turn, the gendarmes from Linguère and the head nurse from the Barkedji health post went to the scene to carry out the necessary investigations. Awa Diallo's body was then transported and taken to the morgue at Magatte Lo Hospital by the ambulance from the Diagaly health post.
The police immediately opened an investigation to determine the exact reasons that led this young girl to take her own life.
