Bignona : Les autorités décidées de mettre en œuvre l’opération de déguerpissement sur la RN4 et au marché
Authorities have decided to tackle the illegal occupation on National Road 4 RN4 and around the market. The Prefect of the Bignona department, in perfect coordination with the municipal authorities of the communes of Bignona and Tenghory, has ordered users to vacate the spaces before Saturday. These various authorities, namely the Prefect, Mayor Bacary Diatta of Bignona and Sidy Badji of Tenghory, have decided to carry out eviction operations on these roads starting this Saturday, October 25.
These operations, which will affect the RN4 as well as the areas around the market, have the main aims of freeing up public rights-of-way, ensuring user safety and improving traffic flow.
Several market stalls are located next to the RN4 and cause real mobility problems on this route.
The traders concerned have already been made aware, and a resettlement site is planned to allow them to continue their activities in better conditions.
