The mayor of Kaolack, Serigne Mboup, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the diaspora housing development, located in the Lyndiane district, in the presence of Senegalese members of the diaspora and Italian partners participating in the commemoration of the municipality's 105th anniversary. This project includes 3,500 social housing units and villas on 77 hectares and aims to facilitate access to housing and improve living conditions.
