Dakar-Yoff : la Sûreté urbaine frappe fort contre le trafic de chanvre indien
A raid was carried out by the Urban Security Service of the Dakar central police station. Following a tip-off, investigators arrested an individual in Yoff suspected of possessing and trafficking Indian hemp.
During the search, the police discovered 135 cones of Indian hemp, as well as one kilogram of the same drug, carefully concealed. The individual was taken into custody while the investigation continues to determine the extent of his network and any possible accomplices.
In a press release from the Communications Division, the National Police reaffirmed its determination to relentlessly combat drug trafficking. It also invites the public to actively collaborate by forwarding any useful information to 77 333 78 45.
This arrest is part of the security measures implemented in Dakar and its suburbs, where specialist services remain mobilized to protect citizens.
