Dialogue social à l’ARP : Le SAMES et le SUTSAS dénoncent une “manipulation de l’information”
The trade union sections of SAMES and SUTSAS of the Senegalese Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (ARP) are contesting the holding of an alleged meeting of the social dialogue committee announced by the agency.
In a press release published on December 29, 2025, the two trade union organizations categorically reject the content of a text entitled "Social Dialogue: The ARP puts in place sustainable mechanisms, guaranteeing permanent dialogue and strengthened social stability", recently released.
According to them, this document refers to a meeting that allegedly took place on December 19, 2025, but the version circulated bears no resemblance to reality. "We affirm with the utmost firmness that no mandated representative of the SAMES/ARP or SUTSAS/ARP union sections participated in said meeting," they stated.
For the unions, presenting this meeting as an act of social dialogue is a serious misrepresentation. They believe it constitutes, in particular, "a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of consultation" and "an attempt to manipulate information and distort the social reality within the agency."
The signatories also denounce "an unacceptable process aimed at artificially legitimizing a process devoid of any representativeness and legality", recalling that "social dialogue is not decreed by press release; it is built by the presence and effective participation of representative trade union organizations, the only ones authorized to carry the voice of the staff", they emphasize.
While condemning what they call a maneuver, the SAMES and SUTSAS sections nevertheless say they are open to genuine consultation.

Depuis très longtemps, il y a des problèmes récurrents et aucune décision n est prise.
Ce n est pas normal et c est dommage pour une institution aussi importante que l ARP
La situation à l'ARP est pourrie par un management hasardeux et le climat délétère qui y sévit ne fera qu'accentuer les dissensions et divisions au grand dam hélas de son rôle de régulation.
C'est un véritable défi lancé aux autorités qui ont chanté urbi et orbi les vertus du JJJ et tous les Sénégalais sont attentifs à ce qui va se passer dans cette structure.
En attente de mesures correctives concrètes et fortes...
