Omar Dioum, Managing Director of FBNBank Senegal, marked Customer Service Week by immersing himself in the daily lives of his teams. Yesterday, Saturday, October 11 at 3 p.m., he shared his experience on social media: "I chose to leave my office as Managing Director to don the uniform of a cashier and customer service agent—to live, listen, and serve as our teams do every day."
This initiative, which he amended at the end of the day, reflects his vision of leadership: "Understand before leading, serve before demanding." Dioum also recognized the best employees in Almadies branches and elsewhere, praising "their commitment and the exceptional quality of service provided to our customers." He paid tribute to "everyday heroes—tellers, advisors, branch managers," saying, "You are the true face of our institution."
For him, "service is not a role, it is a culture," a message that reinforces the culture of excellence of FBNBank, a key player in the Senegalese banking sector.
