Kaffrine : Promovilles remet les clés des ecoles réhabilitées et fait le point sur les voiries
The modernization of Kaffrine's urban infrastructure has reached a new stage. The city hosted a dual inauguration and site visit ceremony this Friday, attended by Serigne Ndiaye, Director General of Promovilles (the urban modernization program).
The event marked the official handover of the keys to the refurbished classrooms, followed by an inspection of the ongoing roadworks, confirming Promovilles' commitment to improving the local living environment.
School infrastructure: Two modernized schools
The social component of the program specifically targeted the rehabilitation of essential school infrastructure. Two schools benefited from a complete renovation.
School 3: It now has 14 classrooms, a modern computer room and a headteacher's office.
School 4: This establishment consists of 12 classrooms, a computer room, an office and a store.
These improvements, which Mr. Ndiaye described as "related improvements", aim to provide a better quality learning environment for students in Kaffrine.
Roads and lighting: A project 75% complete
The main project involves the construction and modernization of roads. The Director General specified that the overall work covers 6.67 kilometers of roads. This large-scale project includes not only the road surface, but also public lighting, the drainage network, and landscaping.
The progress is considered satisfactory, with an overall rate estimated at 75%: 2.86 kilometers of roads are fully completed; 3.81 kilometers are still under construction; street lighting has been considerably reinforced by the installation of 215 solar streetlights.
In addition, the development of the Keur Mame Assè Niasse esplanade is also in the final stages, adding a structured public space to the municipality.
Through these achievements, Promovilles reaffirms its mission to "improve the living environment of the population" and to "support local communities in their sustainable urban development," concluded Serigne Ndiaye.
The ceremony allowed local authorities and beneficiaries to commend the quality of the work, expressing their satisfaction with the expected positive impact of these new infrastructures on the daily lives of Kaffrin residents.

Le mot PromoVilles n'existe ni dans le projet ni dans le livre Solutions. Ils se glorifient des restes des programmes de Macky Sall et font beaucoup de communication pour montrer qu'ils travaillent.
Heureusement que vous avez succédé à un président qui réalisait des programmes sinon vous alliez passé tout ce temps à parler comme Sonko bla bla bla rek... Accusations, manipulation et victimisation mais zéro action à part les déguerpissements...
