Keur Massar : La BR arrête deux dealers qui dissimulaient de la drogue dans des téléphones
A surveillance operation carried out by the Research Brigade of the Keur Massar gendarmerie company led to the dismantling of a drug trafficking network operating on the local market.
On Thursday, October 3, 2025, Keur Massar gendarmes took into custody two individuals suspected of possessing and trafficking hard drugs. They are AA Bangoura, 27, a shopkeeper, and M. Faye, 20, a student, according to Seneweb sources close to the prosecutor's office.
The arrest of these two alleged traffickers follows the exploitation of information concerning the existence of an active hard drug distribution network near the Keur Massar market.
A team of gendarmes specializing in observation and surveillance was deployed on the ground to dismantle this network.
The strategy implemented by the police quickly bore fruit. The police first arrested Mr. Faye in the act while he was delivering 6 grams of hashish to a customer. The modus operandi was particularly ingenious: the drug was concealed and housed in place of the battery of a dead cell phone.
When questioned about the source of the drugs, the young student quickly named AA Bangoura as his supplier. The police immediately mounted an operation to arrest him.
The raid on his home proved particularly fruitful.
In the bedroom of the alleged dealer, investigators discovered a veritable stockpile of narcotics and prohibited material: 114 grams of hashish, 21 grams of ecstasy in the form of a flap, a fake weapon and an asphyxiating pump.
Here again, the drugs were cleverly concealed in disused mobile phones, a technique that allowed the trafficker to evade controls.
In total, 141 grams of narcotics were seized during this operation: 120 grams of hashish and 21 grams of ecstasy.
Mysterious supplier still on the run
Placed in police custody, AA Bangoura, in turn, tried to avoid responsibility by citing the name of a certain "Zeumb" who would be his own supplier and therefore the head of the network. Unfortunately, despite the searches carried out by the gendarmes, the arrest of this individual remained unsuccessful. The latter remains actively sought by the police.
The two accused were brought before the court on Monday, October 6, to answer charges of possession and trafficking of hard drugs, and for AA Bangoura, of possession of an imitation weapon and an asphyxiating pump.

il y'a tellement de délinquants, de voleurs, de trafiquants et de criminels vers keur massar et bizarrement, on entend rarement parler de la section de recherche de keur massar, On dirait qu'ils passent leurs journées à la brigade à boire le thé et à dormir.
