Lutte contre le trafic de drogues : Deux ressortissants nigériens interpellés à Mouran avec une importante quantité de tramadol
A security operation conducted by forces in the Moussala border sector of the Saraya department led to the arrest of two Nigerien nationals on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, for trafficking prohibited substances. The incident occurred at the Mouran outpost during a routine patrol.
According to security sources, the individuals, traveling from Kolobo (Mali) to Bondala (Senegal), were arrested while transporting a significant quantity of illicit goods. They are BC, 27 years old, and IM, 22 years old.
The security search resulted in the seizure of 1,051 tramadol tablets and 31 sachets of Mirage brand tobacco, type Blue Tobacco. The seized items also included a TVS motorcycle (type 150), four Tecno mobile phones, and two power banks.
When questioned briefly, the suspects stated that they had been sent by a certain Mouss Bao, a Malian national residing in Kolobo, Mali. Their mission was to deliver the merchandise to a Senegalese man based in Bondala, whose exact identity and address they claimed to be unaware of. They explained that upon arrival at their destination, they were to contact their sender so that he could inform the final recipient.
At the end of their custody period, the two suspects were brought before the public prosecutor.
