Opérations de retrait d'épaves de véhicules : L’ultimatum du préfet de Saint-Louis
In an effort to ensure the free movement of people and goods, to improve the living environment of the population and to strengthen public safety and health, the prefect of Saint-Louis has announced a large-scale operation to systematically remove vehicle wrecks.
This operation, which is part of the policy of reorganization and liberation of public space, begins on Saturday, October 25, 2025 across the entire municipal perimeter.
Consequently, the prefect invites all owners of abandoned or illegally parked vehicles to voluntarily remove these objects, at the latest before the start date of the operation. "The prefect of Saint-Louis is counting on everyone's sense of civic-mindedness and responsibility for the success of this operation in the public interest," states the prefectural note.
