Parcelles Assainies : drame dans une auberge, un jeune homme succombe dans des circonstances suspectes
A 23-year-old man, D. Trawaré, died this Monday under suspicious circumstances in a hostel located in Unit 6 of Parcelles Assainies. According to the testimony of his partner, S. Ba, a 32-year-old sex worker, reported by L'Observateur, the young man allegedly ingested a "questionable substance" before starting to cough violently and then vomit blood.
Panicked, S. Ba immediately alerted the hostel manager and L. Barro, a friend of the deceased, who was waiting at the bar. Both rushed to room number 2, where Trawaré was, but were unable to revive him.
Alerted, the police officers from the Golf Sud police station, led by Commissioner Mame A. Ba, accompanied by the firefighters, went to the scene to carry out the investigation and remove the body.
At the scene, forensic investigators found the victim lying on his back, wearing jeans and a black shirt, with blood flowing from his mouth and nostrils. His identification was confirmed thanks to his passport and the testimonies collected, details the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group.
The same source said that on the instructions of the public prosecutor, the body was transferred to the morgue of Dalal Jamm hospital for autopsy, in order to determine the exact causes of death.
As part of the investigation, the prostitute and the deceased's friend were taken to the police station. Investigations are continuing to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy and identify the nature of the substance ingested by the victim.
