Pr Ramatoulaye Diagne Mbengue : « J’exprime ma profonde gratitude au maire Dr Babacar Diop, mon ancien étudiant »
Professor Ramatoulaye Diagne Mbengue, rector of the Iba Der Thiam University of Thiès (UIDT), was among those honored this Saturday by the City of Thiès. The first female university rector in Senegal, she received a medal of recognition from Babacar Diop for her service to the people of Thiès.
Considered a true academic architect, Professor Diagne Mbengue received the distinction with joy and humility, expressing her gratitude to the mayor.
“I am very happy. I express my deep gratitude to Mayor Dr. Babacar Diop, my former student. I receive this distinction with great joy and great humility,” she said.
