Slanderous remarks, dissemination of false information: Former postal workers are furious.

The national collective of former employees from the negotiated voluntary departure plan of the La Poste Group (CNAPDVN) regrets to have noted "the dissemination of erroneous information and slanderous remarks by the SNTPT (National Union of Postal and Telecommunications Workers) concerning the negotiated plan."

During a press conference held this Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Thiès, to provide an update on the progress of the negotiated departure plan and clarify the current situation, the coordinator of the Cnapdvn, Lamine Thior, and his colleagues wanted to provide details regarding, firstly, the negotiated plan. "This plan is the result of several months of discussions and arbitration at the highest level.

"Its sole objective is to preserve the rights of all employees and to secure voluntary departures in a transparent manner," he said.

Regarding insurance, the Cnapdvn states that "contrary to rumors circulating, obtaining insurance premiums related to the plan is finalized and completed with our partners AMSA and NSIA."

Regarding the methods, the Collective says it condemns "all forms of denigration and disinformation." These former postal workers indicate that their fight is being waged with "truth, discipline, and unity behind our coordinator."

Lamine Thior calls on all former workers affected by this departure to "not give in to manipulation and to remain mobilized behind the single framework of the Collective, which remains the only credible interlocutor for the success of this plan." The Cnapdvn, which, he says, "will not allow any partisan interest to compromise the future of our comrades who have legitimately and individually transitioned into professional life," intends to use all means at its disposal to defend the gains achieved.
