Saint-Louis : le corps sans vie d’une femme retrouvé sur la berge du fleuve
A tragedy occurred this Friday morning in Saint-Louis. The lifeless body of a woman, aged around forty, was found on the riverbank, not far from the Maison de l'île.
According to witnesses, local residents made the gruesome discovery before alerting the authorities. Firefighters, who were quickly dispatched to the scene, removed the body to the morgue at the Saint-Louis Regional Hospital.
According to initial information gathered at the scene, the deceased was a woman suffering from mental illness. The exact circumstances of her death remain unknown at this time.
