Série de grèves et débrayages : Le SEPT exige la satisfaction de plusieurs mesures
The Union of Vocational and Technical Education (SEPT), affiliated with the National Confederation of Workers of Senegal (CNTS), has decided to decree a series of strikes and walkouts in the coming days to demand the satisfaction of several demands.
This includes the opening of the procedure for transferring METPs into the PCEMG corps; the full payment of professional examinations and certifications, as well as travel; the signing of the two decrees by the decision-makers; the establishment of regional and departmental directorates of the FPT.
Not to mention the cessation of the siphoning of funds from the CFP and technical high schools budgets; the updating of circular no. 010309 of July 21, 1992 setting out the procedures for mobilizing and using the resources generated by the establishments; the end of administrative delays; the placement of lecturers at ENSEPT on internships.
The schedule of union actions planned by SEPT for January 2026 is as follows: Work stoppage on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 9 a.m., and on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 9 a.m. Total strike on Thursday, January 15, 2026, and Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
