Situation carcérale d'Arona Benga : Sa famille réagit
In an interview with "Sans Limites," former inmate Weuz Faramaren gave an account of the conditions of detention of actor Arona Benga. Imprisoned for over a month at Rebeuss prison for drug trafficking, this former inmate revealed that the actor, whom he met in cell 49 of the penitentiary, was in a worrying situation. He described him as sad, barely recognizable, and lacking support.
But the family of Ahmadou Bia Sow, also known as Arona Benga, categorically denied these reports about their son: "Contrary to the allegations being circulated, Ahmadou Bia Sow fully benefits from the support of his family. He is not in a situation of need and has not, at any time, authorized any person or organization to launch an appeal for help on his behalf."
According to her parents, Weuz Faramaren's statements are unfounded and that he is seeking to exploit Arona Benga's notoriety for the sole purpose of creating buzz and attracting media attention.
"It should also be clarified that, contrary to what has been claimed, Arona Benga has been involved in social actions within his place of detention. He systematically shares the aid sent by his family with prisoners in situations of great hardship," the actor's family emphasized.
She is thus alerting the public, relatives and all actors in the artistic community to the "fraudulent nature of Weuz Faramaren's statements and his malicious intentions".
