Supposé détenteur d’un véhicule volé : Ce que l’on sait sur l’affaire du député Cheikh Bara Ndiaye
Information relayed by social networks reports that Pastef party MP Cheikh Bara Ndiaye is in possession of a Toyota Land Cruiser car reported stolen. According to Seneweb, the case involves the companies Bonkoungou Distribution, located on the VDN (Ebomaf building), and Comptoir commercial du Sénégal Baili-SARL. The dispute concerns the sale of two Land Cruiser vehicles. Invoice No. 001/04/BKG/2025, dated April 10, 2025, reports a total amount of 164,000,000 FCFA, or 82,000,000 FCFA per unit. On the same day, a bank transfer order for the said amount was made from the BNDE, Keur Gorgui branch, to Boukoungou Distribution SARL, with a payment receipt issued.
One of the vehicles, registered on April 30, 2024 under number AA-420-ZS, holder no. 1000712032 in the name of Comptoir commercial Baili SARL, on the same day to MP Cheikh Bara Ndiaye. The latter immediately transferred the registration document to his name.
However, as early as April 10, 2025, Bonkoungou Distribution had sent Baili SARL a cancellation of the sale and demanded the immediate return of the two vehicles, citing actual non-payment. This decision, notified to Moussa Seck, was intended to cancel any contractual obligation. Despite this, the car was not returned.
The head of Bonkoungou Distribution contacted the Criminal Investigations Division (DIC). An investigation was opened and the parties were heard. However, Moussa Seck was not arrested. Member of Parliament Cheikh Bara Ndiaye was questioned as a witness. He claimed, with supporting documents, to have acquired the vehicle legally.

Je ne comprend pas ce qui se passe au Senegal. Que font les gens pour gagner autant d'argent? Un ingenieur informatique qui travaille a Google ou Microsoft gagne en moyenne 90000 dollars par annee avant impot (ca rentre a a maison avec les 3/4). Ca fait environ 50 millions cfa PAR ANNEE. Ce travailleur peut seulement se taper une voiture qui coute 20000 dollars a payer sur 5 ans.
