TGI DE THIÈS : Un charretier condamné à 4 mois de prison pour vol de câbles électriques aux ICS
C. Fall, a 29-year-old cart driver, appeared before the Thiès High Court for the theft of electrical cables using a means of transport, to the detriment of the Chemical Industries of Senegal (ICS), represented by Mr. Sylla. The events took place in Darou Khoudoss.
According to the investigation, the defendant was hired by a man named Ahmet Ndiaye to transport the electrical cables. He was accompanied by his friend S. Fall, who is being prosecuted for complicity in theft. The three men were caught in the act of loading the cables onto a cart.
Upon the arrival of the property owner, C. Fall and Ahmet Ndiaye fled, abandoning S. Fall on the spot with the cart and cables.
Alerted, the gendarmerie intervened and arrested C. Fall, while Ahmet Ndiaye managed to escape.
In court, C. Fall admitted wanting to transport the cables, but maintained that the initiative came from Ahmet Ndiaye who asked him to carry out the transport.
For his part, S. Fall denied any involvement in the theft, claiming that he did not flee because he was unaware that the cables were the result of a criminal act.
The public prosecutor, deeming the evidence against S. Fall insufficient, requested his outright acquittal. However, regarding C. Fall, the prosecution noted contradictory statements, emphasizing that the stolen cables were found on his cart. Consequently, the prosecution requested a three-month prison sentence for C. Fall, along with the confiscation of his cart.
The judge acquitted S. Fall and sentenced C. Fall to four months in prison.

Il faut ajouter que même des fumiers seraient prêts à le défendre et aussi qu'ils minimiseraient ses crimes en se fendant par des : " c'est ça le porozet " des "non à la vengeance" et des " les priorités sont ailleurs"....
Mais des charretiers ,voleurs de cables ,ils s'en battent .
