Thiès : Les agresseurs d'un employé de la SERAS arrêtés
Aboard his Jakarta motorcycle, a SERAS employee in Thiès was violently attacked with a machete and injured in the left arm by two criminals traveling on a motorcycle between the Ballabey estate and the Ouvrière estate, a once-peaceful area that has now become a hotbed of attackers. To the point that the few vehicles traveling there did not dare stop to help the victim, who was losing blood.
"I was driving calmly when suddenly two assailants appeared to attack me with a machete. I managed to dodge some blows, but I was seriously injured in my left arm and lost a lot of blood. I screamed for help, but in vain," the victim said.
Thanks to the dynamism and professionalism of the elements of the Medina Fall police station, in charge of the investigation, the two criminals, known for similar acts, were arrested and placed in police custody. One of them, born in 2004, allegedly admitted the facts and confessed to having sold the victim's Jakarta motorcycle for 100,000 CFA francs.
The investigation is ongoing.
