Trafic de crack à Golf-Sud : Un dealer récidiviste tombe avec 20 comprimés et ses 6 complices
The Golf-Sud District Police Research Brigade has put an end to the activities of a repeat drug dealer. On the night of Monday, October 13, around 9 p.m., I. Faye and six of his accomplices were arrested while consuming hard drugs in their den located near the Golf-Sud pharmacy.
The arrest was the result of reliable intelligence that enabled police to launch a targeted surveillance operation. Investigators staked out a stakeout near the home of repeat drug dealer I. Faye, who was known to the police.
Suspect caught in the act
Around 9 p.m., police officers spotted a suspicious individual leaving the home in possession of drugs. His arrest paved the way for a broader operation. The suspect was escorted back inside the house, allowing plainclothes officers to arrest drug dealer I. Faye in his bedroom, surrounded by five companions who were in the middle of a drug use session.
The scene discovered by the police revealed the scale of the trafficking: the group was using hard drugs (crack) and smoking Indian hemp. During the search, investigators found I. Faye in possession of a bag containing 20 crack pills, according to Seneweb sources.
The search of the room proved even more fruitful. The police seized a roll of aluminum foil, identical to that used to package crack pills, as well as a quantity of loose Indian hemp and bottles of cellulose product.
For these serious acts, the seven individuals were placed in detention for trafficking, possession and collective use of drugs.
