Trafic de drogue à Kédougou : L'un des suspects arrêtés tente de corrompre les policiers avec 200 000 FCFA

The OCRTIS Regional Narcotics Brigade of Kédougou has successfully carried out a crackdown with the arrest of three Guinean nationals for supplying and transferring drugs, illegal sale of medicines, attempted corruption and money laundering.

B. Bâ, 25 years old, I. Baldé, 25 years old and O. Bâ, also 25 years old are the main suspects arrested.

They were taken into custody at the premises of the Regional Narcotics Brigade.

These arrests follow a high-confidence purchase made by police officers from a notorious trafficker. This undercover technique allowed investigators to acquire two Tramadol tablets and two kepas of hashish, paving the way for a major operation.

The police operation resulted in the seizure of diverted drugs and medications, including 38 Tramadol tablets, 10 Valium tablets (anxiolytic), 20 ecstasy tablets (a synthetic drug), and 42 kepas of hashish.

Against all expectations, B. Bâ tried to bribe the police by offering them the sum of 200,000 FCFA to regain his freedom, according to Seneweb sources.

Far from giving in to this proposal, the Kédougou BRS elements seized the money and complicated the suspect's case. B. Bâ now also finds himself prosecuted for attempted corruption.
