Trafic de drogue démantelé par la BRS de Dakar : 2 chauffeurs vendaient du kush à leurs collègues
The Dakar Regional Narcotics Brigade of the OCRTIS, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at around 9 p.m., arrested two drivers for criminal conspiracy and possession of eight bags and 19 kepas of kush. They are I. Diagne, born in 1991, and CT Diallo, born in 1985. This arrest resulted from the exploitation of information reporting intense kush trafficking orchestrated by these individuals. The two suspects were trafficking at the stop called "Lobou Gaz." Their clientele consisted of drivers, bus apprentices, and other road users. It was a surveillance and tracking system that made it possible to uncover this trafficking.
It was under these circumstances that I. Diagne was arrested at the Lobou Gaz station in possession of two bags of kush worth 7,000 CFA francs and 4,000 CFA francs respectively, as well as a sum of 6,000 CFA francs in cash. CT Diallo was also arrested at this location. The search revealed in his possession six bags and 19 kepas of kush, a Samsung mobile phone and a sum of 7,500 CFA francs.
When questioned about the source of the drugs, I. Diagne stated that he obtained his supplies from a bus driver, while CT Diallo claimed to have no direct contact with his supplier. These versions did not convince investigators, who placed them in custody for criminal conspiracy and possession of narcotics. The drugs, cell phone, and the seized money were placed under seal.
Investigations are continuing to trace the supply chain and identify possible accomplices in this kush trafficking network that is plaguing Dakar's transport stops.
