Trafic d'êtres humains au Ghana : les révélations glaçantes d'un rescapé sénégalais
After Mamadou Seck, a second young man from Kébémer, Amadou Fall, managed to escape the clutches of a kidnapping network in Ghana linked to Qnet's activities. According to Libération, which broke the story, his account, given at the Kébémer police station, reveals the criminal organization and the cruelty of its methods.
He sells his childhood friend for 2.5 million CFA francs
According to the modus operandi described by the newspaper, the trap relies on the promise of a trip to Canada. As reported by the daily, Amadou Fall explains that he paid 2.5 million CFA francs to his childhood friend, Ibrahima Gaye, for this fictitious project. Once in Ghana, he discovers the sinister reality: the victims are forced to join the Qnet pyramid scheme under duress.
A month of "prison" and famine
For refusing to comply, Amadou Fall endured a horrific ordeal: locked alone in a house for over a month, starved, and cut off from all means of communication. He also confirmed that his "friend," Ibrahima Gaye, received a commission of 25,000 CFA francs on each ransom extorted from the families remaining in Senegal.
An alert regarding other Senegalese hostages
The survivor managed to escape by pretending to accept his captors' demands. Once he had recovered his phones, he made his way to the Senegalese embassy in Accra before returning to the country via Ouagadougou. His revelations are alarming: several other Senegalese are reportedly still being held captive in various houses in Ghana.
This case is reminiscent of the fate of Cheikh Touré, another young man who did not survive this network. The investigation continues to dismantle this international network, the same source emphasizes.
