Trafic international de cocaïne : Cinq Nigérians arrêtés à Dakar par le GLAD
The National Gendarmerie's Anti-Drug Group (GLAD) has dismantled a structured cocaine trafficking and distribution network operating in the areas of Grand-Yoff, Mamelles, Ngor and Almadies, Seneweb learned from Colonel Ibrahima Ndiaye.

The exploitation of intelligence indicating the existence of this network led to the identification of an active and organized criminal organization. GLAD officers arrested five individuals, all Nigerian nationals, for international cocaine trafficking.

The search resulted in the seizure of 81g of cocaine, a batch of Nigerian passports, a batch of printer cartridges, a batch of blank stamps, and HP brand labels.

The presence of these objects suggests that the network had a document forgery system.

The five suspects have been taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of the network and identify any possible accomplices.
