Seneweb knows a little more about the accident of the A minibus bound for Dakar plunged from the Émile Badiane bridge into the Casamance River under circumstances that remain unclear. Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Three people were on board the vehicle.

This tragic accident claimed the life of the minibus driver, Saër Ndiaye, a married father of two. He was buried yesterday, Wednesday, around 11 a.m. in Loumbeul Kao, in the commune of Thiamène-Pass (Linguère).

According to the latest reports, one of the two missing people has been found dead. The search continues for the third passenger in the river.
