Intercontinental playoff: Senegal's future opponent at the World Cup is becoming clearer

Barrage intercontinental : le futur adversaire du Sénégal au mondial se précise

Senegal now knows one of its potential opponents for the 2026 World Cup. Bolivia qualified for the final of the intercontinental play-off after its stunning victory against Suriname (2-1).

The Bolivian national team will face Iraq for a place in the World Cup group stage. The winner of this match will join the group consisting of France, Senegal, and Norway, reports the sports website L'Equipe.

Thus, the Lions of Teranga could face Bolivia or Iraq in the first round. The matchup is still uncertain, but it's starting to take shape as the tournament approaches.

The decisive match between Bolivia and Iraq is scheduled for Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. The winner will officially join Senegal's group and will play their second match against France on June 22nd in Philadelphia.

The suspense therefore remains for Senegal, who are waiting to find out who their future opponent will be from the playoffs.

Renversante parce que le Suriname menait au score. Il ne parle pas d'écart de buts mais du déroulement de la rencontre

Yow deggo toubab….quand une équipe mène au score devant une équipe surtout lorsqu’elle ouvre le score en premier et qu’elle soit rattrapée et battue on dit qu’elle a été renversée quelque soit l’écart du score
