Buteur face au Kenya : Ibrahim Mbaye déjà dans l’histoire
Having come on as a substitute in the 75th minute of last Saturday's prestigious friendly against Brazil (0-2), 17-year-old Ibrahim Mbaye made his first start for the Senegalese national team on Tuesday in Antalya, Turkey, against Kenya (8-0). The young Paris Saint-Germain winger took advantage of the Lions' attacking display to score his first goal for Senegal.
Even better, Ibrahim Mbaye made history by becoming the youngest goalscorer for the Senegalese national team, thanks to his superb goal on the 7th goal, with a left-footed strike (47th).
In addition to this gem, the new prodigy distinguished himself in attack by delivering the pass for the 2nd goal to El Hadj Malick Diouf (12th), then that of the 3rd goal to Sadio Mané, before winning the penalty allowing the latter to score the 5th goal.
With this historic performance, Ibrahim Mbaye is well on his way to establishing himself as a long-term player with the Senegalese national team.
