CAN 2025/ Programme du jour: Des chocs décisifs dans les groupes C et D au menu
The third matchday of Groups C and D of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations takes place this Tuesday, December 30th. Four matches are scheduled, with important stakes both for qualification and for the final group standings.
In Group C, the matches will be played simultaneously at 4:00 PM GMT. In Fez, Uganda will face Nigeria. Already qualified, the Super Eagles will look to confirm their status as favorites and secure first place in the group. The Ugandans will give it their all to stay in contention.
At the same time in Rabat, Tanzania will face Tunisia. The Eagles of Carthage, seeking a second victory to secure second place in the group, will need to be solid against a Tanzanian team determined to cause an upset and fight to the very end.
The evening will be dedicated to Group D, with two matches scheduled for 7:00 PM GMT. In Tangier, Senegal, already qualified for the round of 16, will face Benin. The Lions of Teranga will be aiming for first place in the group, while the Beninese Cheetahs will be playing for a place in the round of 16.
Finally, in Rabat, Botswana will face the Democratic Republic of Congo. A crucial match for the Leopards, who will try to win to overtake Senegal in the race for the top spot.
