After Ivory Coast and Cameroon, two other nations have qualified for the quarter-finals of the U17 AFCON. These are Morocco and Egypt.

Host nation Morocco defeated Egypt (2-1). This victory allows the Atlas Lions to finish top of their group with 7 points.

Despite this defeat, Egypt retains second place and qualifies for the quarter-finals as well as for the World Cup.

In the other match in the group, Ethiopia beat Tunisia (1-0). This was not enough for the Ethiopians, who will not play in the quarterfinals, but they still hope to qualify for the World Cup through the playoffs.
