Coupe du monde U17 : le Burkina Faso se relance, l’Ouganda décroche son premier point

The Under-17 World Cup continues in Qatar. After a 1-0 defeat to the United States in their opening match, Burkina Faso bounced back in their quest for the round of 32. The young Burkinabe side beat the Czech Republic 2-1 thanks to goals from Zongo (27th minute) and Ashraf Tapsoba (50th minute). This valuable victory puts Burkina Faso in second place in their group with three points.

In Group K, Uganda earned their first point by holding Chile to a 1-1 draw. The Ugandans must win their final match against France to have any hope of qualifying for the round of 32.

Finally, in Group L, Mali suffered a heavy defeat against Austria (0-3). Despite this heavy loss, the Young Eagles (2nd, 3 pts) still have a chance of qualifying for the round of 32.
