Fédé de lutte : les derniers réglages avant l'élection
Following an information meeting held on Wednesday at the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium (LSS), the electoral commission detailed to the candidates the conduct of the vote and clarified all the procedures to guarantee a transparent vote.
According to Atoumane Gaye, a member of the commission, as reported by the sports daily Record, the electoral register contains precisely 115 voters. However, access to the stadium will be strictly controlled: only the 215 authorized representatives (representing wrestling stables, schools, and associations) with their accreditation will be allowed entry. "Without an authorization, there is no access to the hall, and certainly not to the polling station," he emphasized, specifying that there will be as many ballots as there are authorized representatives.
Regarding media coverage, 50 accreditations have been reserved for the press. Journalists are invited to contact Ndèye Ndom, communications officer at the Ministry of Sports, to collect their badges. The commission emphasized the importance of media presence to ensure the smooth running of the process and prevent any incidents.
The elective General Assembly is scheduled for December 28th.
