JOJ Dakar-2026 : Le coordonnateur du COJOJ invite les influenceurs à une collaboration créative
The Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee (YOGOC) held an information and discussion seminar yesterday in Dakar for influencers and content creators.
With 395 days to go until the opening ceremony of the first Youth Olympic Games held on African soil, the YOGOC is banking on new communication channels to amplify the Dakar 2026 story. In front of numerous YouTubers, TikTokers, bloggers, and influencers, Ibrahima Wade, YOGOC General Coordinator, emphasized the strategic importance of content creators in the success of Dakar 2026 communication. "You are the relays of a universal message: at Dakar 2026, African youth will be at the center of the world," he emphasized.
For the YOGOC, influencers are storytellers, ambassadors, and drivers of engagement. Their ability to directly reach young people, through their codes, formats, and platforms, makes them essential in the popular mobilization process.
Far from a simple top-down presentation, this seminar was intended to be a space for discussion. The committee invited participants to propose formats, campaigns, and collaboration ideas to embody the spirit of the YOG through their content.
"I invite you to consider these Games as your playground, your laboratory, your stage. Invent, propose, create," said Ibrahima Wade, calling for creativity.
