La LSFP reprend le contrôle total de la diffusion des matchs de Ligue 1 et de Ligue 2
As we announced yesterday, the Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP) has officially confirmed the temporary suspension of its pay-per-view streaming program. This decision follows a technical and financial assessment of the pilot phase conducted with the relevant service providers and partners.
According to the LSFP, this analysis highlighted the need for a fairer and more sustainable economic model, guaranteeing a better return for clubs and a better valuation of the championship.
The league has embarked on a major restructuring of its broadcasting system, in consultation with clubs and relevant authorities. The objective is clear: to ensure transparent governance and a fair distribution of the revenue generated.
While waiting for the implementation of the new model, several measures have been taken:
A new broadcast strategy, designed to benefit both clubs and the public, is currently under review. It will soon be submitted to a scientific committee before being implemented.
The LSFP would like to thank its technical and commercial partners — DSPORTS, BEUZPRO and DIGITAL VIRGO — for their decisive role in the experimental phase of the project.
