Ligue 1 (Matchday 9): Gorée and Casa draw, Jaraaf secures its fourth consecutive victory

Ligue 1 (9e journée) : Gorée et Casa se neutralisent, le Jaraaf enchaîne une quatrième victoire

The Senegalese Ligue 1 played its 9th round of matches this weekend. League leaders US Gorée hosted Casa Sports in a top-of-the-table clash that ended in a 1-1 draw. With this point sharing, the islanders (1st, 16 pts) and the Ziguinchor side (4th, 15 pts) maintain their positions in the standings.

On the road in Saint-Louis, Jaraaf secured a valuable victory, defeating Linguère 1-0. This fourth consecutive win brings the Medina club's total to 14 points, climbing them to third place.

At the Yoff municipal stadium, Dakar Sacré-Cœur secured the biggest win of the weekend, thrashing Sonacos 5-2. This victory propels the Academicians to 5th place with 14 points.

Still near the top of the table, AJEL Rufisque (2nd, 15 pts) were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Wallydaan. The same scoreline was seen in the match between ASC HLM and Teungueth FC.

At the bottom of the standings, Guédiawaye FC (16th, 6pts), last in the league, went and won on the pitch of AS Cambérène, second to last, 2-0.

The 9th day will continue this Monday with the matches US Ouakam-Stade de Mbour and Génération Foot-AS Pikine.

Sauve qui peut le Tout Puissant jaraaf revient en force, s'"IL prend les commandes, vous pouvez dire adieu au champion national, parce qeu ils faudra etre fort pour les freiner.
