Manchester City : Enzo Maresca succède à Pep Guardiola
Pep Guardiola's successor at Manchester City now appears to be a done deal. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Enzo Maresca has signed a three-year contract with the Sky Blues, tying him to the English club until June 2029.
Former Chelsea coach, the Italian manager will therefore take the reins of the English runners-up with the heavy task of continuing the legacy left by Guardiola after several years of domination on the English and European scene.
According to the same source, Enzo Maresca will be directly involved in the club's decisions during the next summer transfer window, proof of the confidence placed by the Manchester management in the Italian coach.
Now all that remains is for Manchester City to officially confirm Maresca's arrival on the Etihad Stadium bench.
