In the midst of preparations for the 2026 World Cup, Ghana continues to suffer a string of setbacks. Having lost to Austria a few days earlier, the Black Stars fell once again to Germany (2-1), despite a courageous performance.
Things are going from bad to worse for Ghana's Black Stars. Crushed by Austria (5-1) on Friday, Ghana suffered another defeat against Germany in Stuttgart (2-1).
In this match, clearly dominated by the Germans, the Ghanaians nevertheless put up a good fight. Julian Nagelsmann's men, after missing several chances early on, finally opened the scoring with a penalty converted by Kai Havertz (45+3).
In the second half, in a surge of pride, the Ghanaians managed to get back into the game thanks to a goal from Abdul Fatawu (70th minute). But the German national team, determined to win in front of their home crowd, snatched victory through Denis Undav (88th minute).
