Mercato : Benzema de retour en Europe ? Mais pas à l’OL…
Freshly returned to his country, on the bench of Benfica Lisbon, José Mourinho would have a strong desire to bet on Karim Benzema, star of the Saudi championship.
The Mourinho effect has already begun. After the hype surrounding his return to Benfica, 25 years later, the Eagles won their league match 3-0 (against the last team...). But the Portuguese coach doesn't just intend to become a staple in his home country again. Ambitious, he plans to put Benfica back on the European stage. And to do that, he's reportedly targeting a big name in the Saudi league: Karim Benzema! According to Goal, José Mourinho has suggested bringing the Lyon-trained striker back to Europe. Unfortunately for OL fans, it won't be at the Groupama Stadium...
