Having retired from international football in 2024, Manuel Neuer (40 years old, 124 caps) could return to the Nationalmannschaft for the 2026 World Cup. According to Sky Germany, the Bayern Munich goalkeeper is on coach Julian Nagelsmann's preliminary extended list.
