Terrassé par une fièvre : Pape Thiaw absent en conférence d’après-match
Senegalese coach Pape Thiaw was conspicuous by his absence from the press conference after the Lions qualified thanks to a 4-0 victory over Mauritania on Tuesday. His absence was justified by his worrying state of health.
It was his deputy, Teddy Pellerin, who appeared before journalists to explain the situation. “Pape Thiaw has been ill for 24 hours, he is still feverish and he apologizes for not being able to appear at the press conference,” he declared.
