Tottenham : Thomas Frank donne les raisons du manque de temps jeu de Pape Matar Sarr
During his press conference this Friday, Tottenham manager Thomas Frank clarified the situation of Senegalese midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, whose playing time has significantly decreased in recent weeks.
Asked about the absence of the young Senegalese international from the starting eleven, the Danish coach dismissed any idea of tension or discontent.
"There's no problem with him," said Thomas Frank. "He probably started the first six games and I think he was a very good player for us. I think there was a little bit where we played him easy, but that's just competition. Other players played well. Those were my decisions," he added.
The Spurs manager also emphasized Sarr's importance to his squad and his satisfaction with his performances. "Overall, I'm happy with Pape. I've said it before, he's one of the players who impressed me the most at the start of the season, and he's a very good player."
Despite increased competition in midfield, Thomas Frank still seems to be counting on the young Senegalese, who remains a solid option in Tottenham's rotation.
