Senegalese Abroad Weekend: Gana, Pape Guèye and Chérif Ndiaye score, Lamine Camara, Krépin and Iliman provide assists

Week-end des Sénégalais de l’étranger : Gana, Pape Guèye et Chérif Ndiaye buteurs, Lamine Camara, Krépin et Iliman passeurs décisifs

Idrissa Gana Guèye, Habib Diallo, Chérif Ndiaye and Pape Alassane Guèye scored, Iliman Ndiaye, Lamine Camara, Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly and Krépin Diatta provided assists: the Lions distinguished themselves again this weekend on European pitches.

In France

Nice, with Yehvann Diouf and Antoine Mendy, suffered a heavy defeat against Stade Brestois (4-1). The Senegalese goalkeeper started, while his compatriot remained on the bench. In the northern derby, Lens, with Abdallah Sima (who remained on the bench), outclassed Lille (3-0). At home, Lyon, with Moussa Niakhaté, beat Angers by a hair's breadth (1-0).

At the Stade Jean Bouin, Moustapha Mbow's Paris FC (starter) lost to Mamadou Sarr's Strasbourg (2-3). At the Louis-II stadium, Monaco defeated Metz (5-2). Several Senegalese players stood out in this match. For Monaco, Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta each provided an assist, while Habib Diallo of Metz opened his goal tally with a pass from Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly.

In Le Havre, the Senegalese team (Mory Diaw, Sanganté, Issa Soumaré, Rassoul Ndiaye) was held to a 1-1 draw by Lorient. Soumaré scored the goal for Le Havre. For Lorient, Abdoulaye Faye started, and Sambou Soumano came on in the second half. Bingourou Kamara and Bamba Dieng remained on the bench.

In England

In the Merseyside derby, Gana Guèye (scorer) and Iliman Ndiaye (assist) stood out despite Everton's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool. West Ham's El Hadj Malick Diouf (starter) fell again to Crystal Palace (1-2), despite an assist from the Senegalese full-back. Ismaïla Sarr was out due to injury.

Pape Matar Sarr remained on the bench for Tottenham's 2-2 draw at Brighton. At Sunderland, Habib Diarra, injured in training, was not called up for the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa.

In Spain

On Matchday 5 of La Liga, Pape Alassane Guèye gave Villareal victory by scoring the second goal against Osasuna (2-1). Ismaïl Pathé Ciss, playing in central defense, and Rayo Vallecano were held to a draw by Celta Vigo (1-1).

In Italy

On Matchday 4 of Serie A, Cheikh Tidiane Niasse's Hellas Verona shared the points with Juventus (1-1). The Senegalese midfielder came on in the 77th minute. For his first appearance with Udinese, Idrissa Guèye remained on the bench during the defeat against AC Milan (0-3).

Boulaye Dia, who started but was replaced in the 62nd minute, and Lazio lost the derby against Roma (0-1). In the duel between Senegalese, Cremonese with Mikayil Ngor Faye (remaining on the bench) drew (0-0) against Parma with Abdoulaye Niakhaté Ndiaye (starting). Assane Diao, back from injury, was not called up for Como's victory against Fiorentina (2-1).

In Germany

Nicolas Jackson's Bayern Munich comfortably dominated Hoffenheim (4-1). The Senegalese striker came on in the 62nd minute.

In Belgium

Anderlecht, with Moussa Ndiaye (who came on in the 69th minute) but without Ilay Camara, were held to a 0-0 draw by Antwerp. Union Saint-Gilloise, with Ousseynou Niang (starting), won 2-1 at Genk.

In Türkiye

On Matchday 6, Cherif Ndiaye scored Samsunspor's second goal, defeating Fatih Karagümrük 3-2. Unfortunately, the Senegalese striker was forced to leave his teammates ten minutes later due to injury. Ismail Jakobs' Galatasaray face Konyaspor this Monday.

In Saudi Arabia

On Matchday 3, the clash between Al-Ahly (captain Édouard Mendy) and Al-Hilal (captain Kalidou Koulibaly) ended in a spectacular draw (3-3). Leaders Al-Nassr (captain Sadio Mané) crushed Al Riyadh (5-1).
