La BNDE et la FSF s'allient pour pousser le football sénégalais vers de nouveaux sommets
The National Bank for Economic Development (BNDE) and the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) officially signed a strategic partnership agreement this Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Dakar, in a friendly and festive atmosphere. This agreement marks BNDE's entry as the FSF's new institutional partner, succeeding Coris Bank.
Owned primarily by the State, the BNDE's public service mission is to finance the economy, support SMEs, and promote financial inclusion throughout the territory.
For Mamadou Faye, CEO of BNDE, supporting Senegalese football – a symbol of unity and national pride – is a natural commitment. He drew a strong parallel between the two entities: "Like the lions on the field, BNDE carries the Senegalese flag in the banking sector," he stated, emphasizing the bank's responsibility to stand alongside the nation's symbols.
The president of the FSF, Abdoulaye Fall, welcomed this meaningful partnership with a national institution sharing the same values.
Beyond financial support, the FSF expects the BNDE to provide essential structural support for financing its strategic projects. This notably includes the implementation of the SMART FSF 2022 strategy, which aims to modernize, digitize, and sustainably strengthen Senegalese football.
The signing ceremony, marked by the enthusiasm of the players in sport and finance, illustrated the common ambition of the BNDE and the FSF to contribute to the influence of Senegal and to the consolidation of a modern, high-performing and inclusive national football.
