Malika Et Yeumbeul Nord : Le Coordonateur national du PROMOVILLES satisfait de l’état d’avancement des chantiers

The National Coordinator of the Urban Modernization Program of Senegal (PROMOVILLES) visited the ongoing infrastructure and landscaping projects in the municipalities of Malika and Yeumbeul Nord (Dakar) on Monday, December 15, 2025. During his visit, Mr. Serigne Ndiaye expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the construction and stated his expectation that the infrastructure would be completed on schedule.

All construction projects are in the finishing stages

The National Coordinator of PROMOVILLES began his tour of ongoing construction sites in the municipality of Malika to assess the progress of the work. There, Mr. Serigne Ndiaye, accompanied by the mayor and the deputy sub-prefect of Malika, as well as representatives from the company in charge of the project, visited the Malika municipal stadium where PROMOVILLES is building a 2,000-seat grandstand for the benefit of the local population. This allowed him to see firsthand the progress of this sports infrastructure project.

Serigne Ndiaye also visited the Grand Malika health post. There too, the National Coordinator of PROMOVILLES observed that the expansion work on this health facility has reached a satisfactory stage of completion, with only the installation of equipment remaining.

Two modern, two-story health posts are currently under construction in Yeumbeul Nord.

After Malika, Mr. Ndiaye and his team headed to Yeumbeul, where they were welcomed by Mr. Ibrahima Ba, Sub-Prefect of the Yeumbeul district, and Mr. Abdou Sèye, Deputy Mayor of the Yeumbeul North municipality, responsible for the environment and quality of life. Here too, PROMOVILLES, having already completed over a kilometer of roads, has launched a project to construct healthcare infrastructure. This includes the Darou Salam 6 health post and the Yeumbeul Asecna health post, both located in the Yeumbeul North municipality. Both projects, for which PROMOVILLES is the project owner, include housing for the Head Nurse.

At the Darou Salam 6 health post, the head of PROMOVILLES observed the progress of the work on this R+1 health infrastructure. Here too, the construction site is in its final phase.

Serigne Ndiaye made the same observation at the Yeumbeul Asecna health post. This two-story building is also nearing completion; only the equipment installation remains.

"If everything goes according to plan, these projects will be delivered on time."

Following his visit, the National Coordinator of PROMOVILLES expressed his satisfaction with the overall progress of these projects. He announced that, provided all conditions are met, the health posts in Yeumbeul Nord will be delivered on schedule, namely April 2026.

“I have seen very significant progress and hope that we can quickly complete these projects and deliver them so that the communities can use them,” Mr. Serigne Ndiaye emphasized. He added that if everything goes according to plan, these health posts will be delivered on time.

Promovillle fait du bon boulot. L' avenue Maurice Gueye de Rufisque risque d'être la plus belle avenue du Sénégal après achèvement des travaux en cours et très avancés. Bonne continuation.
