«Une plainte déposée devant l'ONU, mais... », (Ambassadeur du Soudan)
Sudanese Ambassador to Dakar Abdelghani Elnaim Abdallah strongly deplored the lack of response from the international community and the African Union to the war in his country in an interview with the newspaper Le Soleil.
He explicitly pointed the finger at foreign powers who, according to him, "support and finance the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militiamen."
The diplomat recalled that despite a complaint filed with the UN Security Council, no concrete measures have been taken to end the conflict. He also expressed frustration at the bad faith of the FSR militiamen during the peace talks, which he said they are using "to try to achieve progress on the military front."
