Covid-19 Force Fund: Bamba Amar, the driver of the Ministry of Industrial Development, sent to prison for 930 million CFA francs

To proclaim his innocence, Bamba Amar stated that he was a clerk sent to BOA Bank to withdraw the check on the instructions of account manager Moustapha Diop (on the run) and that all checks were signed by Moustapha Diop.

Despite his protests under the assistance of his counsel, Masters Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba Fall and Seny Ndione, the judge of the 2nd chamber of the Dakar court charged him with embezzlement of public funds before sending him to prison.

According to Seneweb sources, Bamba Amar intends to provide bail in order to benefit from provisional release.
