The Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC) has referred rapper King Massaly to the public prosecutor, according to Seneweb sources.
Police custody after interrogation
Summoned by the DSC, rapper King Massaly was taken into custody following his interrogation. The Mbour-based artist had produced a music video with images and comments deemed obscene.
His arrest for indecent assault and dissemination of immoral images follows a referral by the public prosecutor.
Constitution of civil party
The Committee for the Defense of Moral Values, composed of a dozen religious and civil society associations, has announced its status as a civil party. This organization, coordinated by Serigne Bassirou Mbacké, Cheikh Astou Fall, and Adama Mboup, welcomes the prompt response of the head of the Dakar prosecutor's office.
