RDC-Sénégal : des journalistes sénégalaus dénoncent l’envahissement de la tribune de presse par des supporters congolais
The atmosphere surrounding the Senegal–DRC match is becoming increasingly tense. Following the incidents reported in the stands, journalists are now sounding the alarm.
According to several reporters present at the scene, the press box was invaded by Congolese supporters, making working conditions particularly difficult.
"Even we, the press, the Congolese have invaded the press gallery. We are no longer safe," says Cheikh Tidiane Gomis of Walf TV.
The invasion of the media space raises serious concerns. Media professionals, who are supposed to cover the event calmly, say they are at risk of attack and are calling for urgent measures to restore order.
These incidents add to a series of tensions already observed before the match, with Senegalese supporters forced to leave the stands for fear of attacks. The issue of security therefore remains a central concern, pending a response from the sports authorities and organizers.
